while walking on

his way

while breathing

the same

while laughing

his heart away

he knew not

of her soul

s h a k i n g

and

s h i v e r i n g

she sat alone and quiet

she trembles

and little does he know

that his voice

his presence

from two metres

away

carries the strength

of a mountainous trek

a venture she cannot name

but her heart endures

every

so

often.

he does not see her

she isn’t brave enough

to face him

but she chooses a veil

of all-seeing silence.

his bones continue

but hers falter

his time ripens

yet hers quickens

his mind will proceed

and hers will deny

his soul does search

while hers does cry

until he walks

her moon

and she decides

to halt

his night sky.
