Devil's Embrace

PART I: DARKENED LIGHTS

Light refracts through a cracked mirror

And like a mirror; light too can be broken

Each piece a part of whole

Shadows no longer what shape its boundaries

But the scars that mark its body

To one : an unruly sight

But to others: colors magnified and presented manifold

Let darkness and light meet in matrimony

And may the cracks be a memory everlasting

PART II: BUSH-NIGHT BOOGIE

Whimpered cries and blundered ties

Hidden pools of crimson in sleepless skies

Run from the embrace of the embracer

Embrace the serpents patronage

Sealing the mothering she-camels untimely fate

Hear her cries, her horrific cries.

Remove her entrails, now's the time.

Lance her heart and be showered red

Dance in your demonic trance

The Bush takes lives new and old

And from the shadows, you see eyes gleam black and gold

Alas you’ve succumbed to a fate worse than the she-camels demise

Forevermore: Accursed soul of the serpents eyes.

PART III: SERPENTINE LOVER

Man indeed is an oddity

A being who seeks to take the serpent its life companion

A being how foolish in their perversions:

Toxins; a sedative, aphrodisiac, hallucinogenic concoction of vice.

A dance pays not as a warning but an invitation to her pit

Her weapons mere adornments.

A lover’s kiss to which the realms merge.

Heaven and Earth

Mankind and Beast.

PART IV: FOOL’S LOVE

A child who gets old

Is no more a man than the untamed beasts of his lusts;

Firstly glad tidings to my beloved's and to those whose hearts begin to rust;

And beloved is my sundered souls; the many I see and the few that I trust;

Who move to sounds unheard and yearn for which they cannot see;

Cursed be those who anchor their souls to worldly ties of land and sea;

Feign not as a man, I see you as three;

A child, a beast, despised merchant of shayateen.;

Don’t call to me;

You words greet me with nothing silent anguish and misery;

Let this be known as the mesmeralities of Dunya — The fool’s love of reality ;

PART V: MOONLIT MANia

I fear the madness

From the moonlit sky

Crazed by its luster I —

Find myself a Lunatic

I fear the madness

Of the serpents toxins that borrow through the skin and into my brain

I fear the madness

Of the venom coursing its way through the fabric of my arteries and veins

I fear the madness

Of love and her cabal —

The snake and moon to which I find myself maddened .

Intoxicating venom and Celestial wonders are her gifts.

And madness, her everlasting curse.
