My breath

Rattles through my lungs like the old skeleton rattles his bones

My heart

Shivers as the cobwebs sway in the breeze

My blood

Flows green like poison brewed by a witches hand

And my ears

They ring with the shrieks of the past

Each part of my body is a tombstone

A hauntingly beautiful graveyard

A silent story screaming to be heard

My skin crawls with a thousand spiders

And when I look in the mirror I see no reflection

The touch of silver burns my flesh

My Burnt flesh, holds my body together

a dismembered disaster

There is nothing quite as beautiful as destruction

Nothing quite as angelic as an unleashed demon

I have been to hell before

Now I look into flames and smile

So when you see the sign warning

“Do not enter”

When you see the lock on the gate

Listen to what your body is saying

And run

Flee

Go back to the life you feel safe in

I am not the girl you save

I am not the girl looking for your outstretched hand

To pull me out of this grave

I am not the girl for happily ever after

I am not even a girl anymore

I am a ghost

The ghost of a girl I cannot remember

A phantom

who will drag you down with her

Until six feet deep you forget the taste of air

'A hauntingly beautiful graveyard'...more like a hauntingly spooky piece 🖤
