I wonder what it would be like to have…

Crystals for eyes

Hair dipped in gold

Long gowns of glory

Skin as fair as snow

Long capes of silk

And a world filled with love, magic, and dreams

But as I stare outside my window, I realize that

The snow outside our windows

Covers the evergreen trees like white fairy dust

And footsteps mark our paths, like Hansel and Gretel

And there is love, magic, and dreams
