we are born into this universe

for reasons unknown

unaware and unfazed by

our insignificant presence in a

seemingly infinite sea of stars

while our tangible assets do have meaning

it is through

compassion,

kindness,

love,

caring,

and cherishing others

that we can truly

cause ripples across space time

and leave a perpetual mark

on this little rock

we call home
